Canada_Day8_Sightseeing @ Montréal

Today is the last day at Montreal. The weather was so bad. We could even hear the thunder in the hotel. Our plan is to do more sightseeing and relax; heading back to Ottawa at late afternoon.

Pass the China Town again!

After lunch, the weather turned sunny so we headed to Saint Joseph's Oratory. A wonderful church on the hill. Great place to see Montreal and not far from our hotel.

After looking at the St Joseph church, we went back to the Westin to pick up Kai and headed north to visit the TOHU. (About TOHU historic story!) The TOHU in Montreal now is one of the world's largest gathering places for circus arts training, creation, production and performance. It is remarkable not only for its facilities but also for the extraordinary influence its citizens exercise on the international stage.

We were there to visit the school of cirque du soleil. They had a curator to took us around and gave us a tour. I had lots of videos of the tour and will post them on the blog later.

We left the school before 6:00 and head back to Ottawa.
